Apprentice production mechanic

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

We offer you the opportunity to actively shape your entry into professional life with us. During the three years of training, you will gain an insight into the warehouse and transport sector and acquire knowledge of planning and organisational processes, stock control and the storage of goods. You can also expect a lot more:
 
  • You will learn from us how to check deliveries against accompanying documents, accept goods and sort them according to requirements
  • We will teach you how to pick and pack consignments and show you how to secure and label them in accordance with legal requirements
  • We will introduce you to stock control and stock maintenance measures
  • Processing shipping and accompanying documents is also part of your training, as is keeping shipping records
  • We will show you how to create loading lists and loading plans in compliance with loading regulations
  • During your training, your trainers will always be on hand to provide you with help and advice and prepare you for the intermediate and final exams

YOUR BACKGROUND

We believe that the following will help you to successfully complete your apprenticeship: 
 
  • You have (soon) successfully completed your secondary school leaving certificate (Hauptschule, Realschule or Abitur)
  • You are not afraid of physical labour
  • You enjoy organisational activities
  • You show self-motivation, a sense of responsibility and willingness to perform 
  • Independence, teamwork and diligence are among your strengths

You will learn in an international company and can get involved in the many different areas of the company during your apprenticeship. In the regular trainee meeting, in trainee projects or on the trainee excursion, you will also get to know the other trainees better and benefit from their experience.
